Front-end React Developer

Vynca is a fast-paced, fun entrepreneurial environment incredibly passionate about transforming end-of-life care. We are looking for a Front-end Engineer to join our growing product development team. You will work up and down our entire technology stack. The successful candidate enjoys building beautiful interfaces and connecting them to complex back-end systems. You will be a crucial member of our engineering team and help design, build, and maintain systems necessary to continue our rapid growth.

The primary language the front-end relies on is the ReactJS ecosystem and universal rendering.

This job primarily deals with both front-end development and maintenance.

Front-end Requirements:

• Solid background in HTML5, CSS, Javascript
• Understanding how HTTP works
• Minimum 3 years experience with ReactJS

Additional Skillsets:

• Experience in the following tools:
  • State management library, i.e. redux
  • Async flow management library, i.e. redux-saga
  • Client side routing library, i.e. react-router
  • Testing framework, i.e. mocha, jest
  • Module bundler, i.e. webpack
  • Workflow manager, i.e. gulp
  • CSS pre and post processor, i.e. SASS, postcss
  • React-storybook
• Understand how front-end and back-end interact with each other
• Experience in dealing with cross-browser issues, such as IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari

Additional Helpful Skills:

• Previous start-up experience

• High-profile work on commercial or open-source projects
